Plans and limits
Plans and limits
Your workspace is on one of two plans, Free or Team. Each plan sets a number for the things you create and for the things you use. This page lists every number.
Limits belong to the workspace, not to a project. Two projects in one workspace share one set of numbers.
What you can create
These caps count what exists now, across every project. They do not reset.
Archiving or resolving an item does not give the quota back. You keep full access to everything you already made. A cap refuses new items only.

Artifacts is the total of every kind together, including the kinds with no cap of their own. A workspace stays under both its per-kind cap and this total.
What you can use each month
These caps count actions, not items. Each one resets on the first day of the month, UTC.

An AI call is one request to an agent feature: Ask, drafted tickets, or contextual help.
A knowledge base build indexes a project's documents. One build reads every source, so it costs far more than one AI call. The two are counted apart for that reason.

A single build also has a ceiling on how many sources it reads. This one is per build, so it does not reset and it is not a monthly allowance.

Seats
A seat is one person in your workspace. On Team a new member is added to your bill, so Team sets no seat cap.

When you reach a limit
The meter on the Plan page reads limit reached. To raise it or remove it, move the workspace to Team.
A message that offers an upgrade is about a plan limit. A message that asks you to wait is a rate limit, which guards against too many requests in a short time. A rate limit is the same on both plans, it never offers an upgrade, and it clears by itself.
Where to see your own numbers
The Plan page shows the caps for your workspace next to what you have used.
Only a workspace admin can open the Plan page today. If you are not an admin, ask one for your current numbers.
These numbers are defaults
The tables above show the standard numbers for each plan. Your workspace can be set differently. The Plan page is the authority for what applies to you.
