Drawers
Drawers
Hub has one docked sheet on the right of Rinkata Hub UI and phone. Chat stays on the left. Kinds fall into three families.
| Family | What it is | Permalink |
|---|---|---|
| Artifact | Spec, ticket, Goal, idea, Decision, Knowledge document, source file, Help | Yes, for routable kinds |
| Session | Compose and result surfaces (Create ticket, Draft tickets with AI, Create Spec, log a Decision, staged reconcile, …) | No |
| Confirm | Demote, dirty-edit, destructive cascade | No, a small centered card, not a drawer |
Tickets and Goals still open as wiki pages. They are first-class in the type and in the remount key: switching ticket → ticket or idea → idea remounts the dock.
Escape pops one stack entry. ✕ and the scrim close the whole stack. Opening any Hub drawer closes the filter strip.
Side-by-side panels (Alt/Option+W, 1280px or wider) do not change this dock. One drawer still opens on the window right. Reload keeps the same open panes. See The four panels.
Reading and actions
Goals open on Overview, with status and linked-work progress followed by a bounded Completion screenshots rollup when descendants have any, then the full original document. Each thumbnail names its source Spec or direct ticket. View all screenshots opens the full-size screenshot viewer. Capture at the full viewport. Prefer at least 1440×900 so that viewer stays sharp. Hub does not refuse a minimum size. Escape closes the viewer and leaves the drawer open — there is no extra Goal tab. Linked work lists each related spec and direct ticket once. Open a spec for its member tickets. The section jump stays available.
Ticket detail shows only screenshots attributable to that ticket, with a route to the owning Spec's Evidence. A ticket with no Spec has no Demo Pack, so Hub did not persist screenshot tiles for it; the prose completion note is the stored evidence. Linked cards name their source section, and source drift shows affected tickets and available reasons. To create work from a section, choose the visible Goal section, open Create work, then Create ticket… or Draft tickets with AI…. Create Spec remains under Linked work and opens as a session drawer using the same drawer body as other creation flows; it retains Goal switching, full source loading, preview, ticket attachment, and extract/adopt retry recovery.
Common lifecycle actions, Claim/Unclaim, Assignee and Copy Prompt stay together near the header. Tickets use Start instead of a second Claim. Actions holds secondary status changes, Archive/Delete and Record decision in a command menu without moving your document. Its commands expose menuitem semantics with Arrow/Home/End navigation, typeahead, Tab traversal and Escape focus return. Click outside to dismiss it, or press Escape to close it. On phones, Goal and Spec More reveals the toolbar. Create work sits on Linked work with Create Spec, and the Goal-section picker stays beside the Create work menu so the native select keeps its own keyboard behavior. This lets Overview go from section tabs to prose without an extra Create work row. If controls do not fit, use the labelled next/back arrow or keyboard-focusable scrolling row; Actions stays fixed beside it. Decision controls keep their existing placement and approval rules.
Help
Help is a drawer. Open it from:
- the Help item in the Hub user menu (your avatar)
- Help in the Footer (desktop)
- phone More, the same avatar menu. Not a fifth dock slot. The dock stays Knowledge / Ideas / Work / Complete.
Review drawers
This page is the operator catalog. Each row opens that drawer against a real artifact in the selected project. If the project has none of that kind, the row is disabled. Hub does not seed fake artifacts.
Session kinds (new ticket, log a Decision, staged reconcile) sit underneath when they are cheap to open.

Create work from the section you are reading
Selecting a Goal section carries it into Create ticket, Draft tickets with AI, and Create Spec. All three open as session drawers on the same stack — Create Spec is not a centered dialog over the Goal. Review the visible Goal and source section; both can be changed before creation. The Spec form loads the selected Goal's full text.
Create ticket opens a manual form. Draft tickets with AI first asks you to review the source, then request proposals. Edit and select proposals before Create selected writes any tickets. Partial failures stay visible and retries skip tickets already created. A successful batch opens its first new ticket; close it to return to the review. The review survives drawer navigation in the current browser session, but is not saved across a page reload. Changing source asks before discarding a review.
Created tickets and anchored Specs include Back to Goal. If Spec extraction succeeds but ticket adoption fails, keep the created Spec or retry adoption using the existing recovery controls; the source remains locked to that result.
Draft review state is memory-only and scoped to the authenticated or acting-as principal. Logout or principal changes clear it, and a pending request from the old session cannot write rows, navigate, or repopulate the new session.
