Ideas

Ideas is ideation until ready. Capture raw intent here. Nothing starts as a Goal, spec, or ticket until you develop it and send it to Work.

Capture

Type a thought in the bar and press Enter. The mic dictates.

Paste or drop a PNG, JPEG, or WebP on the bar to attach a design to the idea. An empty bar still creates the idea, then uploads the image. The ranked row shows a thumbnail of the first image on the right, next to the grip. Click the thumbnail to look at it (overlay, or Open in new tab). Open Develop to see the strip and add more. Add image sits under the thumbs. Those thumbs open the same preview.

Develop

Develop opens the idea so you can refine it, pressure-test it, and send it to Work when it is ready.

The header ⋯ menu holds Copy link (the idea permalink) and Scrap idea. Scrap is only there for an active idea. Other drawers keep an inline Copy link.

The action bar is the path, left to right:

Refine — drafts empty Title, Body, and Success criteria, and expands what you already wrote, from the idea text, Knowledge, and your latest Pressure verdict. It does not fill Features.
Pressure — a short debate that suggests improvements. Needs a Title and a Body first.
Go to Work — the commit. Hub classifies whether this becomes a Goal, a spec, or a ticket. You do not pick a destination on the bar.

A thin draft (no Success criteria and no feature heading) asks Promote anyway? first. Title is required (title or body for a ticket). Sending a Goal to Work does not extract specs.

When the draft is Goal-shaped, Features are named capability cards (Feature name over Feature body). Add them with + Add feature. Spec and ticket drafts keep a single contract and do not show Features. Images sit under Success criteria, above Assignee.

Original idea, draft and discussion

A short captured thought stays prominent above the visible Title and Body working draft. Draft edits are remembered in this browser when storage is available. Go to Work promotes that draft; typing does not replace the captured original. Comments are separate discussion.

Promoted and archived Ideas keep Original idea readable, with links to the work they created and promotion history available in a disclosure.

Path	What happens
Bulk on this bar	Pick a PDF or text file. If the bar already has text, extract from that text instead. Images are not Bulk, paste or drop them on the bar instead.
Knowledge Extract ideas	Split a document that is already in Knowledge. Each idea keeps a chip back to the source.
A connected agent	They read a local markdown file and capture Ideas. That walk lives on Workflows.

Rank and develop

Ideas sit in a ranked list. Drag a row’s grip to reorder it among the others.

Develop opens the idea so you can pressure-test it, assumptions, notes, debate, without sending it to Work yet.

Go to Work

When an idea is ready, open Develop, row click, grip Enter, or drag the grip onto the Work rail. Those paths only open the drawer. Go to Work lands the commitment.

An empty row does not become work by itself. Sending it to Work is a commitment. Any attached design moves with it, the Goal, spec, or ticket drawer shows the picture. The idea stays as a record of where the work came from.

Scrap

Scrap idea in the ⋯ menu removes an idea from the active list. Confirm first (Scrap this idea?). This is dismissal, not a silent delete of deployed work.
